I haven't been charged for it and am wondering if they might try to bill me for the item over the next few days/weeks. As soon as the warehouse confirms your new address, we’ll ship your order to you as requested. This is a very large item in multiple boxes which I needed help from a friend to bring inside. Why has my wayfair order not shipped Either you have requested that we delay shipping your item or we have delayed shipment because we are sorting out order details and have attempted to contact you.
The next day I got an email saying my orders arrived (I had various items arriving over the course of a few weeks) and low and behold, one of the boxes contained the cancelled item. I also checked my bank statement and I was only charged for the other items, not the cancelled one. About two days later, I still didn't receive a confirmation email so I called again and this time they were immediately able to confirm the cancellation and refund me for the item. The Wayfair representative was very friendly and informed me that the manufacturer is processing cancellations and it should be good to go. I quickly logged in and cancelled the order online and received a cancellation pending email ("Someone from Wayfair will get back to you in 24 hours").ģ6 hours later and no response, I gave Wayfair a call and while I was on the line, they called the manufacturer (or distributor) to confirm the cancellation. A few weeks ago, I ordered a few large pieces of furniture from Wayfair and after placing the order, I immediately realized that I do not necessarily need one of the items.
